Iron Triangle Terms of Service
Effective date: November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Iron Triangle Coaching LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we"). They cover the Iron Triangle app and website (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your data.
PLEASE READ SECTIONS 4, 5 AND 13 CAREFULLY. THEY INCLUDE A RELEASE OF CLAIMS, INCLUDING CLAIMS FOR OUR NEGLIGENCE, AND AN AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES AND GIVE UP JURY TRIALS AND CLASS ACTIONS.
1. Who Can Use the Service
You must be at least 18 and able to enter this agreement. You must not be barred from using the service by law. You may hold one account, keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information, including your birth date, weight and health details. Your plans are calculated from what you enter, so wrong information can produce an unsuitable plan.
2. What the Service Is
The service lets you record training, food, fluid and bodyweight, and calculates nutrition targets and weight plans from what you enter. Features can change, and some may be limited or removed.
3. Not Medical Advice
The service is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Using it does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client or other professional relationship with us or anyone who contributed to its content. It is not for medical emergencies. If you may be having one, call 911.
Check with a doctor before you start a weight cut. Do not follow a weight-cut plan without a doctor's approval if you are pregnant or have diabetes, an eating disorder, or a heart or kidney condition.
4. Weight-Cut and Training Risks
Training, combat sports and cutting weight carry real risks. Losing weight and water quickly can cause acute dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and heat illness, and can harm your kidneys and heart. It can be fatal. People respond differently, and a plan cannot predict how you will respond. Stop and get medical help if you faint, feel confused, have chest pain, keep vomiting or cannot keep fluids down.
You choose whether to cut weight, how far to cut, and whether to follow any target. You are responsible for following the rules of your sport and athletic commission. We do not promise that you will make weight, or how you will perform.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, YOU KNOWINGLY ASSUME THE RISKS OF TRAINING, COMPETING AND CUTTING WEIGHT, INCLUDING INJURY AND DEATH.
5. Release of Claims
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, YOU RELEASE IRON TRIANGLE COACHING LLC AND ITS OWNERS, STAFF AND CONTRACTORS FROM CLAIMS FOR INJURY, ILLNESS OR DEATH ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING CLAIMS CAUSED BY THEIR OWN NEGLIGENCE. THIS RELEASE ALSO BINDS ANYONE CLAIMING THROUGH YOU. IT DOES NOT COVER GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL HARM, OR ANYTHING ELSE THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO RELEASE.
6. Subscriptions
- Access: most of the service needs a paid subscription or access given through a gym or by us. The price and billing period are shown before you buy.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for the same period until you cancel. The store charges your account within the store's renewal window before each period ends. If the price changes, you will be told as the store requires.
- Cancelling: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep access to the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: purchases are made through Apple or Google, under their refund rules. Ask them for a refund. Nothing here limits any refund right the law gives you.
- Lapsed subscriptions: when access ends, the app is locked behind the paywall, including during a fight week. Your data stays until you delete your account.
- Gym and promotional access: this lasts for the period and on the conditions offered, and we or the gym may end it. It may end if you leave the gym.
7. Gyms
If you join a gym through the service, the gym sees your name and email as a member. It sees your weigh-ins only if you agree under Share with My Gym. Gyms and their coaches are independent of us. We are not responsible for their advice, programs or conduct.
8. Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the service: no breaking the law, accessing another person's account or data, interfering with or overloading the service, probing its security without our permission, scraping or copying it, reselling it, or using it to build a competing product.
9. Your Data and Our Content
Your logs and information stay yours. You let us use them to run the service, as our privacy policies describe. The app, programs, plans, food data, text and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service under these terms. Exercise videos may play from YouTube, under YouTube's terms.
10. Ending Your Account
You can delete your account in Settings at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. Sections that by their nature should survive will continue, including 4, 5, 11, 12 and 13.
11. Warranties and Limit of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT TARGETS, FOOD DATA OR CALCULATIONS ARE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOU, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE AND OUR OWNERS, STAFF AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND $100. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or rights under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
12. Indemnity
To the fullest extent the law allows, you will defend and hold us harmless against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service. This does not cover claims caused by our own negligence.
13. Disputes
Try to resolve it first. Email support@irontriangle.co and allow 30 days before filing a claim.
Governing law. Texas law governs these terms, apart from its conflict-of-law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section, because the service involves interstate commerce.
Binding arbitration. ANY DISPUTE ABOUT THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, INCLUDING A CLAIM FOR PERSONAL INJURY, WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION UNDER THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION'S CONSUMER RULES, NOT IN COURT. The hearing will be held remotely or in the county where you live. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop misuse of intellectual property.
No jury or class action. YOU AND WE EACH GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. If this class waiver cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim goes to court, not arbitration.
Opting out. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@irontriangle.co with your name and account email. Opting out does not affect the rest of these terms.
Courts. Any dispute not arbitrated goes to the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, unless the law gives you the right to sue where you live.
14. Apple
If you got the app from Apple's App Store, this section also applies:
- Parties: these terms are between you and us only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- License: your license is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions allow, including Family Sharing and volume purchasing where they apply.
- Support: we alone provide maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to do so.
- Warranty: we are responsible for any product warranty the law does not allow us to disclaim. If the app fails to meet one, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the app's purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other resulting loss is ours to deal with, subject to these terms.
- Claims: we, not Apple, are responsible for claims about the app or your use of it, including product liability, failure to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- Intellectual property: if a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging the claim.
- Legal compliance: you confirm that you are not in a country under U.S. embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party terms: you must follow any third-party agreement that applies when you use the app, such as your wireless data agreement.
- Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.
Google is not a party to these terms either, and Google Play's own terms also apply to apps you get from it.
15. Other Terms
We may change these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email, and we may ask you to agree again. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something, we can still do so later. You may not transfer these terms, but we may transfer them with the business. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the service.
