Iron Triangle Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 2, 2026

This policy covers consumer health data held by Iron Triangle Coaching LLC, under laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's similar law. It applies to all our users. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.

Categories of Health Data We Collect

  • Body details: sex, age and birth date, height and bodyweight.
  • Food and fluid: what you eat and drink, and your foods and recipes.
  • Nutrition targets and goals: your targets, your goals and how they change.
  • Check-ins: what you report in the app's check-ins.
  • Training: your programs, logged sessions, sets, rounds and maxes.
  • Fights and weight cuts: your fight dates, weight classes, weight-cut plans and water-loss figures.
  • Related usage data: an analytics event can record that you changed a nutrition target and in which direction, but not the value.

Why We Collect and Use It

  • To record your training and logs.
  • To calculate your nutrition targets and weight plans.
  • To show your weigh-ins to your gym, if you agree.
  • To find and fix problems and decide what to improve.
  • To keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.

Where It Comes From

  • You: what you enter in the app.
  • The app: figures calculated from what you enter, such as your targets and weight plan.
  • Our staff: a member of our staff may enroll you in a training program.

Categories We Share

"Share" here means disclosing data to someone who isn't working for us. We share only one category, and only if you agree separately:

  • Weigh-ins from your time with your gym.

We do not sell health data.

Who Receives It

Third parties, only with your separate consent:

  • Your gym (coaches and admins), under Share with My Gym. You can see the gym's name in Settings, and we will give you a way to contact it on request.

Specific affiliates: none.

Companies that work for us. These processors handle data on our behalf, under contract, for the purposes above. This isn't sharing, but you should know who they are: Google Cloud (hosting and storage), Sentry (crash and performance reports) and PostHog (usage analytics).

Your Rights

  • Access: confirm whether we hold your health data, get a copy, and get a list of the third parties that received it, with a way to contact them.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw your health data consent or stop gym sharing in Settings at any time.
  • Delete: delete your account in Settings, or ask us by email. We delete your health data and tell our processors and any third party that received it to do the same. Copies in backups are gone within 30 days.

How to Use Your Rights

Use Settings in the app, or email support@irontriangle.co from your account's address. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We don't charge for this, up to twice a year, unless a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive.

We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you within those 45 days and take up to 45 more.

Appeals. If we decline your request, reply to our answer within a reasonable time and say you are appealing. We'll answer in writing within 45 days and explain why. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state's attorney general. Washington residents can go to atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

Changes

If we want to collect or share health data in a new way or for a new purpose, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
